FANTASTIC night. The Tribe was fantastic. And it was a first performance for some new Tribe members so that energy was much appreciated (Will Blum’s Margaret Mead was perfection). Nailing it! It was awesome watching the older generation rock out to Three, Five, Zero, Zero, as well. I sat near two older men dressed as legit hippies mouthing every lyric to every song. Made my heart smile. And making it up to the stage to shake my hair out and dance was liberating. Gahhhhhhh!

Walking in Space

  • Doors locked...
  • Blinds pulled...
  • Lights low...
  • Flames high...
The thing the sixties did was to show us the possibilities and the responsibility that we all had. It wasn’t the answer. It just gave us a glimpse of the possibility.
– John Lennon
I always wanted,
to return
to the body
where I was born.
– Allen Ginsberg
Fortunately art is a community effort - a small but select community living in a spiritualized world endeavoring to interpret the wars and the solitudes of the flesh.
– Allen Ginsberg
My advice to people today is as follows: if you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out.
– Timothy Leary

All Things Pass by Timothy Leary, homage to Lao Tzu

All things pass

A sunrise does not last all morning

All things pass

A cloudburst does not last all day
All things pass
Nor a sunset all night

But Earth… sky… thunder…
wind… fire… lake…
mountain… water…
These always change

And if these do not last
Do man’s visions last?
Do man’s illusions ?

Take things as they come
All things pass

PREHISTORIC ORIGINS OF DNA by Timothy Leary

Its rising is not bright

    nor its setting dark

Unceasing, continuous
Branching out in roots innumerable
Forever sending forth the serpent coil
    of living things
Mysterious as the formless existence
    to which it returns

Twisting back
Beyond mind

We say only that it is form from the formless
Life from spiral void
